Based in San Francisco, California, Meredith brings more than 30 years of experience in the furniture industry, with a career built around sales, strategic partnerships, and relationship management. Prior to transitioning into healthcare, Meredith spent much of her career in the commercial furniture industry, beginning with Creative Wood, an independent casegood manufacturer. Throughout her career, she has contributed to notable projects that required collaboration with other industry leaders, highligthing the custom furniture development for Apple Park in Cupertino while at Teknion. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to maintaining a positive mindset and staying focused on my goals. There is often a lot of outside noise that can be distracting, but I have learned to redirect my energy toward what is productive and uplifting. By staying focused on the positive, ignoring distractions, and keeping my vision clear, I am able to continue moving forward and achieving my objectives.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is to stay focused on the positive, ignore the noise, and remain committed to my own path. I have learned the importance of being true to myself, maintaining my integrity, and staying aligned with my values and beliefs. By trusting my journey and staying authentic, I am able to make decisions with confidence and continue growing professionally.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The advice I would give to young women entering my industry is to believe in themselves and embrace their confidence. Finding your voice and trusting your abilities are essential to building a successful career. Do not allow anyone to diminish your confidence or make you question your value. Stay true to yourself, recognize your strengths, and have the courage to pursue your goals.

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are honesty, integrity, positivity, discipline, tenacity, and healthy competition. I believe that staying true to my principles, maintaining a positive mindset, and consistently putting in the effort are essential to achieving long-term success. I value perseverance and continuous growth while embracing healthy competition as an opportunity to learn, improve, and bring out the best in myself and others.
