She is an accomplished stand-up comedienne, performer, and creative entrepreneur with over twenty-nine years of experience in comedy, art consulting, and literary writing. She is the owner of MESHELLE LLC and has appeared on Nickelodeon's Search for the Funniest Mom in America, Martin Lawrence Presents: The First Amendment Stand Up, and BET's Comic View. She is the first stand-up comedienne to receive the Performance Artist Award from the Baker Artist Award program through the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance. She also served as an Open Society Institute Community Fellow and has been a TEDxBaltimore speaker. Her work reflects a deep commitment to creative expression, community engagement, and using humor as a tool for connection and impact.
