About Meti
I am a construction planning professional with a BSc in Construction Technology and Management from Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia. Throughout my career, I have worked in project controls and planning across healthcare, buildings, infrastructure, waterworks, roads, and bridge projects. Today, I am a Senior Planning Engineer at Paul Hansen Engineering, specializing in project scheduling, schedule reviews, delay analysis, and project controls for major infrastructure projects.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success first to God's guidance and grace, followed by hard work, continuous learning, and a commitment to doing my best in every opportunity.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Put God first, work hard, stay honest, and never stop learning. The right opportunities will come at the right time.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Never stop learning, work hard, and stay confident. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Construction projects are becoming more complex, but that also creates opportunities to improve how we plan, communicate, and deliver successful projects
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Faith, integrity, and kindness are the values that guide both my work and personal life. I believe in treating people with respect, working hard, and always doing my best.
