Mia A. Barth

Mia Alexis Barth is a driven and globally minded student at New York University, pursuing a double major in International Relations and Economics. A member of the inaugural class of the bac français international, Mia has built a strong academic foundation that bridges diverse cultures and perspectives. Her passion for law, global policy, and humanitarian work has already led her to contribute meaningfully to organizations such as Save the Children International, where she conducted research on child poverty and education equity, and South Bronx United, where she mentors high school students navigating their college and career paths.
Beyond her studies, Mia demonstrates exceptional leadership through her involvement in Model United Nations, serving as Secretary General and Chair for national conferences, as well as through community engagement with the Maraashly Church, where she has raised significant funds for underprivileged children in Cairo. Fluent in multiple languages including Arabic, French, and English, she brings a multicultural lens to every project she undertakes.
With a deep belief in the power of education and policy to create change, Mia aspires to pursue a career in law and global politics, focusing on youth empowerment and social justice. Her blend of intellectual rigor, empathy, and dedication to service positions her as an emerging leader poised to make a global impact.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my passion for learning and creating meaningful impact, as well as to the memory of my late brother, whose unrealized dreams of higher education continue to inspire my drive and purpose.
