About Mia
Mia Chiodo is a Penn State University student pursuing a degree in biobehavioral health with plans to enter Thomas Jefferson's nursing program in 2027. She has built a foundation in healthcare through diverse explorations including dentistry, dermatology, psychiatry, and aesthetic fields. A pivotal experience was her participation in a global health minor program in Ecuador, where she completed over 75 clinical hours across various settings over five weeks, selected as one of only 11 students from Penn State, and received the For the Field for the Future Award scholarship. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to women's health and her dedication to providing empathetic, compassionate care as a future practitioner.
