Michael C. Redmond

I've been in my field for 20 years, and I'm a retired Lieutenant Colonel with 4 years on active duty and 18 and a half years in the National Guard or Reserve. My career started in business continuity, then evolved into disaster recovery, emergency management, and cybersecurity. I've worked as a CISO for a major city, which I consider my most notable professional achievement. For the last 20 years, I've always had my own company on the side, and I'm currently concentrating more on that now. My work is truly global - I do everything from training to auditing to consulting. I just came back from doing a training program in New Zealand, and prior to that I was over in Fiji doing training for a client. I've done audits in Kenya, speaking engagements in Nigeria, Angola, and Canada, and I've also been called in for consulting for different agencies in New York State. I have private clients that I'm doing audits for as well, so it's really a combination of everything.
