Michele Abrams is a seasoned community leader, consultant, and talk show host with over 40 years of experience in business, education, and nonprofit management in Southwest Ohio. She currently serves as Talk Show Host for the Feelin’ Good Show at Warren County Community Services, engaging a mature audience with topics that inform, inspire, and entertain. Michele has also led community-focused initiatives as Chairperson of the Southwest Ohio Leadership THINK REGIONAL Planning Committee and as a consultant for MBAbrams, bringing strategic planning, event production, and collaborative leadership to projects across the region.

A passionate advocate for civic engagement and lifelong learning, Michele has played an instrumental role in projects such as the USS Cincinnati Submarine Memorial and Peace Pavilion, guiding community volunteers and stakeholders toward the realization of a major public landmark. Her career in leadership development began in 1985 as Vice President of the Middletown Area Chamber of Commerce, where she directed the Leadership Middletown program for a decade. Michele continues to mentor emerging leaders, promote arts and cultural programs, and foster collaboration across multiple counties through initiatives like the THINK REGIONAL conference.

Michele holds a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Miami University and has pursued advanced professional development through the University of Notre Dame’s Institute of Organizational Management. She is a recognized volunteer and leader in numerous civic and professional organizations, including the League of Women Voters, AAUW, and Rotary International. Michele’s dedication to community leadership, public service, and empowering women and girls has earned her statewide and regional honors, including the Andrus Award for Outstanding Community Volunteer and recognition as a Women of Excellence in Southwest Ohio.

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the guidance, support, and example set by my mother and grandmother. Their wisdom and encouragement have shaped my values, work ethic, and determination, providing a strong foundation for everything I have accomplished.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to use your voice and make sure you get a seat at the table. Speak up in meetings, embrace leadership opportunities, and don’t be afraid to share your ideas. I also encourage getting involved in athletics, the arts, or STEM—these experiences build teamwork, confidence, and leadership skills that will serve you throughout your career.

The values that guide me most, both in my work and personal life, are honesty and compassion. I strive to approach every situation with integrity, while showing empathy and understanding toward others, fostering trust and meaningful connections.
