About Michele
Michele Feinstein is a beauty technology pioneer and the Founder & CEO of VOLTÉ Lift Pro, an FDA 510(k)-cleared smart microcurrent device engineered to deliver advanced, science-driven skincare results at home. Drawing on over 20 years of experience spanning biotechnology, medical aesthetics, and wellness innovation, Michele has dedicated her career to uncovering the root causes of aging and developing solutions grounded in real science.
Her professional journey began in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors, where she trained physicians on complex disease states and biologic therapies for autoimmune conditions. She later launched SkinTheraP Medical Spa in New York City — one of the city's pioneering medical spa concepts — which she scaled to multiple locations before a successful exit. Her work garnered attention from major media outlets including the TODAY Show, CNBC, New York Magazine, and Time Out New York. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she also founded Health Buyer Club, a biohacking-focused platform centered on supplements, wellness technologies, and chronic health support.
Today, Michele channels her expertise into VOLTÉ Lift Pro and its proprietary SMART ReactiV™ microcurrent technology — a system that dynamically adjusts its output in real time based on the skin's unique resistance at each contact point. Her deep interest in bioelectricity, cell membrane potential, and functional medicine has fundamentally shaped her philosophy on beauty and aging. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Business from NYU, graduating magna cum laude, and has completed training in functional diagnostic nutrition.
Michele is also the author of RECHARGED: Is Aging the Loss of Voltage?, a groundbreaking work that reframes aging through the lens of bioelectricity — arguing that the body's declining voltage, not collagen deficiency, is the true driver of skin aging. Across everything she does, Michele champions credibility, transparency, and mechanism-based solutions over marketing-driven hype, with a mission to empower women to take control of how they age.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Michele
01What do you attribute your success to?
Being a biohacker and asking the questions of why, and understanding the underlying reasons of things, not just treating the symptoms, but finding out why it's happening.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don't take no for an answer.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
It's never too late to start or reinvent yourself. I'm launching a new brand at my age, and many women think that's the end of their career — but for me, it's just the beginning. I also want women to not fear aging. Feel confident and know that there are real, science-backed solutions to help you look and feel your best. Don't be discouraged by a market full of products that overpromise and underdeliver — seek out real technology and real science, and don't stop until you find what truly works.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge in the field right now is that there are so many products out there that are more about marketing than actual mechanism or science. Women have been sold things for so long that don't really work or have no real scientific backing, making it difficult to compete with messaging from products that lack genuine technology. The challenge is going up against marketing with real science and real technology that was built in the medical world and is now coming to the cosmetic market. Additionally, consumers have become so conditioned to products that don't deliver results that they've lost faith in anything actually working.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Credibility, authenticity, and science-based work are most important to me. I need things to be proven and based on science, not on marketing. I can't sell something I don't believe in or tell people to buy something that's not real or true. In my personal life, I'm very into meditation and working on getting your body out of the fight-or-flight response and relaxing your nervous system, which I believe is really important for everything in your health. I believe the body has the capacity to heal when it has the right kind of raw material, and that includes sunlight, the right foods, and your mental state.
