About Michele

I am a records management and contracts professional with over 20 years of experience supporting public sector operations, information governance, and procurement administration.

Currently, I serve as Records Manager at Eastern Municipal Water District, where I oversee agency-wide records and information management (RIM) programs, data governance initiatives, and compliance with regulatory requirements. My role includes developing policies and procedures, improving records management systems, and ensuring efficient information governance across the organization.

Previously, I worked as a Contracts Specialist, preparing procurement documents, writing scopes of work, administering contracts, and ensuring compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations. I also served as Records Management Supervisor, leading staff responsible for implementing and maintaining the organization’s RIM program and improving operational processes.

Earlier in my career, I worked in financial services as a Loss Mitigation Specialist at JPMorgan Chase, where I developed strong analytical, compliance, and client-service skills.

I hold a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University and a background in Organizational Management from Ashford University. My professional interests focus on information governance, policy development, process improvement, and organizational effectiveness.
