About Michele

Michele Mack is a manager, motivational speaker, and leader. She has spent the last 15 years in management roles where she focuses on maintaining strong customer service, ensuring clerks stay motivated and on task, and providing hands-on support so team members know they are not alone. For the past three years she has also worked as a motivational speaker, primarily addressing leadership topics because she believes leadership shapes lives, helps people stay out of a box, and builds the best teams. She notes that employees often leave jobs due to a lack of leadership rather than pay, and she stresses the importance of handling team members as individuals. Outside her professional roles, Michele founded the Serenity Prayer Nonprofit in 2017 to help homeless shelters and the homeless, including organizing donations of Easter baskets and interview clothing at Valley Missions in Columbia, Georgia. Since 2018 she has been affiliated with the Boys and Girls Club, where she mentors high school students on career paths, college, military service, law enforcement, and entrepreneurship, finding great pride in seeing the young people she works with flourish and accomplish their goals. Her advice to young women is that it is never too late, they are not behind, they have time, they should pace themselves, and write goals out one by one to avoid feeling overwhelmed.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

It's never too late. You're not behind. You have time. Pace yourself. Write your goals out one by one. Not trying to accomplish them all together will become overwhelming. Check them out one by one.
