What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my upbringing and the strong foundation it gave me. I was raised with values centered on hard work, accountability, and treating people with respect, which have guided me throughout my career. Those early lessons shaped my resilience, work ethic, and commitment to doing the right thing—even when it’s not the easiest path.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I always encourage young women entering this industry to start at the ground level and truly learn the revenue cycle from the inside out. Hands-on experience in entry-level roles builds the practical knowledge and confidence you simply can’t get any other way. When you understand the details of the work, you’re much better prepared to step into leadership roles and grow with intention.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is managing through budget cuts while still being expected to maintain strong performance and quality outcomes. It requires teams to be more resourceful and efficient than ever. At the same time, it creates an opportunity to improve processes, use data more strategically, and focus on the work that truly drives impact.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, honor, and treating others with genuine respect. I believe in doing the right thing even when it’s difficult, and in leading by example. I’m also a hands-on leader who isn’t afraid to roll up my sleeves and work alongside the team when needed.
