Her Interview

Ten minutes with Michele

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience, independence, and perseverance. I have been self-reliant since a young age and learned to keep moving forward through challenges. My late husband and the opportunities provided through the military also played a meaningful role in shaping my path and encouraging me to stay committed to my goals.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I ever received was from my late husband, who encouraged me to stay the course and never give up. He reminded me that success comes from persistence and life experience, even when the path feels uncertain or difficult.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women is to remain persistent and not give up, even in male-dominated fields like construction and legal services. Believe in your abilities, stay committed to your goals, and trust that consistency and resilience will carry you forward.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

My biggest challenge is public speaking and stage fright, which can limit my confidence in leadership opportunities. However, I see strong opportunities in expanding remote notary services and digital legal support, which can improve accessibility and efficiency for clients.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, honesty, and accountability are the most important values to me. I believe in doing what I say I will do and maintaining trust through consistency and reliability in both my professional and personal life.
