Her Story
About Michelle
A day in my life looks like me waking up very early in the morning, trying to get some sun in. I am always on my computer, looking for new clients to work with, or managing the clients that I have, trying to figure out the best strategies for them, how I can always improve what's going on, how I can bring their vision to life. When it comes to social media, my brain is always thinking in hooks - I'm like, oh, that's a viral moment, oh, this would be good, oh, what if we said it like this? I'll be at a coffee shop, and I'll be like, you know, maybe they could do this, this, and this for their social media page, and I'm like, I don't even run their page, why am I thinking this? I started out as a blogger in the sexual wellness industry after graduating in public health and seeing a gap in the market, and it has transitioned from there to working with creators and founders.

Ten minutes with Michelle
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
My best career advice came from Kris Jenner when she said, if you're getting a no, you're asking the wrong person. I always remember that, because you're gonna face a lot of rejection in any industry, but you can't take it personally. You always have to problem-solve and find another way around.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell them that discipline is another form of devotion, and it may take a while, but don't give up. Always find a new way to look at things, because the problem is not the problem, it's how you perceive the problem.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I feel like the biggest opportunity and challenge that everybody's talking about right now is AI. Everyone's afraid that's gonna come for our jobs, but I see it more as, if we go head-on, it could be more of a partner, like an opportunity that can help us grow. We, as marketers, we have a great ability at connecting with people, and no matter how much AI develops, it won't be able to connect with people. So that's where our skills lie. And I think if we hammer in on that, we will all be okay.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
In my work, I value honesty, integrity, and transparency. I never like it when people are around the bush - like, if you don't like something, I like to be told so we can work through it together. In my personal life, I really value my freedom, hence, you know, being an entrepreneur. And I also value honesty.
