Her Interview
Ten minutes with Michelle
01What do you attribute your success to?
I think that this position in being in a position to help people get jobs is a bit bigger than me. I just feel that this is what I was placed on this earth to do, because I had this passion back as far as my first job working at McDonald's in high school. I recruited over half of the staff at the time. I would just have to say, just being able to really feel confident and comfortable in knowing that I am fulfilling the purpose that I was put here for, I think, is probably bigger than everything.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't give up. Stay true to what it is that you really, really want to do. I knew in my heart that I wanted to stick to recruitment. I had a lot of challenges along the way, but I stayed true to what it was that I really wanted to do. So if I had to give any advice to anyone, I would say whatever you put your mind to, and whatever you believe you can do, is what the result will be. So just don't give up.
