Her Story
About Michelle
I started with TJX in August 2005 as a part-time nighttime cashier just looking for a job as a kid. I transitioned through returns, service desk, sales floor in home goods as merchandise coordinator, then to TJ Maxx side learning hard lines. It became a career path because the organization trains you and you don't need formal education, just desire to grow. I became a key carrier around 2008, then promoted to assistant manager in 2013. I've worked in all capacities from operations to merchandising to customer service, including HR advocacy, Kronos training, staffing, training, payroll, and mentoring. I've switched divisions working for Marshalls, Max, and HomeGoods, building networks and teams.
