Resilience isn't about proving I belong in the room. It's about walking in with the confidence to lead it with integrity, courage, and purpose.

Her Story
About Michelle
For the past 8 years, I've had the privilege of building a career in the insurance industry, and today I proudly serve as Partner & President of InsurTech Hub. My passion is helping people succeed. Whether it's ensuring our team has the tools and resources they need, serving as their biggest cheerleader, or creating an environment where collaboration and innovation thrive, I believe great companies are built by empowering their people. Every day brings new opportunities to learn, lead, and make a positive impact.
Before entering the insurance industry, I built my career in higher education for 11 years. Looking back, I'm proud to have advanced quickly in both fields, despite many of the challenges women have faced in corporate America. Those experiences have strengthened my resilience, shaped my leadership style, and fueled my passion for helping others grow.
Leadership isn't about having all the answers—it's about lifting others up, embracing new ideas, and creating opportunities for people. I'm grateful for this journey and excited for everything still to come.

Ten minutes with Michelle
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to having good mentors and not being afraid to ask for help. I seek advice from others and view it as valuable feedback for growth rather than criticism. This approach helped me advance quickly in both higher education and the insurance industry.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I received is to embrace change! While change may not be fun, but that doesn't mean it's not necessary. This has helped me navigate constant changes in my industry and keep my team motivated through difficult times.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Stand your ground and don't back down. You are capable of more than you could ever imagine. The only thing holding you back is yourself!
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is the overwhelming number of carriers and products, making it hard for customers to navigate. We have a serious issue with our healthcare system right now starting with the fact it's not affordable and not available for all.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Coachability is key - you must remain humble and open to feedback to keep growing. Staying kind and trustworthy is essential, especially in sales. Complacency can be detrimental to a team so you must do your best to constantly evolve.
