Michelle Cleary

Michelle Cleary is a project management professional with 15 years of experience in the IT project management field. She began her career 15 years ago as a junior Maximo consultant at a small company called Bonetti, initially working as a contractor before transitioning to a full-time employee role. There she wrote training materials, ran training classes, and advanced into functional consulting, defining system requirements for clients. Approximately five years ago she transitioned into project management, working with multiple Maximo consulting firms and a scheduling firm before managing projects at FEMA and Total Resource Management. She recently joined Maven Asset Management, where she was promoted three months ago to Director of the Project Management Office. In this role she builds out the PMO, runs projects for clients such as UCLA and Seattle Public Utilities, supports sales through RFPs and statements of work, and trains other project managers. She holds IBM Maximo certifications, including as a professional deployment specialist. Her educational background includes an associate's degree in elementary education from Parkland College and attendance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
