Michelle Elek

Michelle Elek owns and operates two businesses centered on natural and organic products. As owner-artisan of Body Spa Organics, a health and wellness company, she creates all-natural skincare items, a venture she has been building for about 7 years after initial research and development. She also owns Sweets Boutique, her artisan bakery specializing in cakes, cookies, and other sweets made with organic ingredients, which evolved from her 14 years of baking experience after restructuring from a previous name. Elek holds a degree from the University of Akron in administrative management, HR, and workforce training, supplemented by classes at Cuyahoga Community College. She is currently in the process of obtaining herbalist certification and additional certifications in artisanal bakery. Her passion for creating products free of synthetic fragrances, artificial flavors, and colors stems from a desire to serve those with allergies and sensitive diets or skin. After her children left for college, she turned her baking hobby into thriving businesses, encouraged by her supportive family.
