Michelle Erny

Michelle Erny serves as Senior Vice President and Business Development Executive in commercial banking at U.S. Bank. She joined the bank after spending 25 years at J.P. Morgan and has been active in the field since 1993. In her role, Erny focuses on business development for companies from $50 million in revenue up to public companies. She supports three states for clients in the $50 million to $1 billion range and 11 states for those exceeding $1 billion, with an emphasis on driving growth, building market awareness, and identifying top businesses in key markets. Erny attended Indiana University but did not complete her degree. She has been involved with the National Charity League for six years alongside her daughter and has contributed to Junior Achievement for approximately 10 years. Erny stepped back from management roles while her children were young to prioritize family time yet remained the primary breadwinner during that period.
