About Michelle
Michelle Giordano is a Physician Assistant specializing in healthcare. She graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2004 and pursued a surgical residency program at Duke University. After completing her residency, Giordano worked in cardiothoracic surgery in the operating room in Charlotte, North Carolina for three years. She then transitioned to critical care, working in the neurosurgical ICU and neurosurgical OR for three years while specializing in spine surgery. Giordano spent three years in orthopedics before returning to Rochester, New York to be closer to family. She worked in the surgical intensive care unit at Rochester Regional for a year and a half and has been at the University of Rochester for nearly 10 years in the cardiac intensive care unit, managing cardiac surgery patients, transplants, and related devices. Giordano holds a PA licensure, critical care certification, cardiology certification, ECMO certification, and an MBA earned in 2025 while working full time. She is a member of the NCCPA.
