Her Interview
Ten minutes with Michelle
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to knowledge because I put it to use. I believe in God highly because if it wasn't for Him I wouldn't be here. My heart is to help people.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Get what you can and leave the rest at the door, meaning don't take home your job. Go in fresh, do what I have to do, and then I leave it there until I come back.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would give them to go reach for the stars. Don't let nobody block you from your blessings. Always, always, always put yourself first. These young girls can be the next generation of powerful women.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The challenge is getting these jobs to pay more. We do hard work and deal with all walks of life but they don't want to pay you even with a degree.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value seeing people live and get back on track in their own place being a part of the community. I value patience and family. I want peace and to take time for myself and family.
