What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the strong foundation I received from my upbringing, the dedication and support of my teams, and the encouragement of my community. Each of these has shaped my values, strengthened my work ethic, and reinforced my commitment to making a meaningful impact in everything I do.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to always do the right thing. Staying true to my values and acting with integrity has helped me build trust, make sound decisions, and create a strong foundation for long-term success.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell young women entering my industry to trust their instincts and approach everything with clear intention. In male-dominated sectors, don’t feel you have to constantly prove yourself—stay true to your values and always stand up for what is right, even if it means standing alone.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is navigating changes in the administration, which can impact priorities and processes. Additionally, the way contracts move through the acquisition process can be complex and require careful attention to detail. At the same time, these challenges create opportunities to develop adaptability, strengthen strategic planning skills, and build resilience in managing evolving systems.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are faith, integrity, and intention. I strive to let these principles guide my decisions, interactions, and the impact I aim to make in every situation.
