Michelle Hynan

Michelle Hynan is an attorney who specializes in contract negotiation. She worked for nine years in the pharmaceutical industry before recently transitioning to the government defense sector. At Rolls-Royce on the defense side of the business, she helps negotiate, execute, and manage contracts with the government, including partners such as the Navy and Army. This role involves dealing with federal rules of acquisition and various federal laws and regulations in a niche and critical field focused on safety. Her path to law was influenced by her mother, who attended law school when Michelle was in third grade and later worked as a public defender for juveniles. After graduating from law school at Valparaiso University, Michelle worked for a couple of years at the Department of Child Services. She earned her undergraduate degree from Notre Dame University and was sworn in as an attorney in September 2015. As a mother of four children, she is proud of achieving professional success while raising her family and advises young women not to give up on their dreams of balancing career and family.
