Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Psychology from Clayton State University in 2011 and recently completed her Master of Science in Engineering Management from Kennesaw State University in 2024. My advice to young women entering this industry is to ask plenty of questions and never let yourself be intimidated—confidence and curiosity are key to thriving here.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge in my field right now is juggling a variety of daily tasks—from managing projects and inspections to working both in the field and behind the computer—while coordinating directly with vendors.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The most important values to me are cherishing family time and shared activities like swimming, baseball, and games, inspired by the example set by my father.
