Michelle Martinez
Creative educator and artist with a passion for digital arts, photography, and youth development, currently serving as a Digital Arts Instructor at Solorio Academy High School. I design and lead engaging courses in digital photography and creative art therapy, while also facilitating extracurricular programs like the Solorio Cinema Club, helping students explore creativity, storytelling, and self-expression.
With a strong background in education, I have supported student growth across multiple roles within Chicago-based schools, developing skills in classroom engagement, mentorship, and creative instruction. My experience working with children of various age groups has shaped my ability to create inclusive, inspiring learning environments that foster both artistic and personal development.
In addition to teaching, I am the Co-Owner and Designer of The Gift of Giving Co., where I create handcrafted products, develop branding identity, and bring artistic concepts to life through design. This entrepreneurial experience complements my teaching by blending creativity, business, and hands-on craftsmanship.
I am dedicated to empowering young minds through art—encouraging confidence, creativity, and meaningful expression.
