About Michelle
Michelle McBride is a senior product leader with more than 20 years of experience spanning logistics, transportation management, supply chain technology, and enterprise SaaS solutions. Based in Frisco, Texas, she currently serves as Head of Products at Envoy AI, a San Francisco-based startup focused on transforming freight operations through AI-powered digital workforces. In this role, McBride leads product strategy and development for solutions designed to help companies move freight more efficiently by combining human expertise with intelligent technology.
McBride’s career journey has been rooted in understanding the challenges of global supply chains and creating technology that improves real-world operations. Before joining Envoy AI, she spent more than 16 years advancing through roles in transportation management, product management, operations, and logistics technology, including leadership positions at Uber Freight and Transplace. Her experience includes building and scaling transportation management systems, leading product teams, driving innovation initiatives, and partnering with customers to develop practical solutions that deliver measurable business impact. She earned her bachelor’s degree in international business management with a minor in marketing in 2007 after beginning her studies in Mexico, giving her a strong foundation in global commerce and cross-cultural business.
Beyond her professional achievements, McBride is passionate about leadership, community, and supporting the advancement of women in supply chain and technology. She is an active member of organizations including the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), the DFW Transportation Club, and the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT). She also dedicates time to charitable causes throughout the Dallas area, including supporting local pet shelters and community organizations. Through her work, mentorship, and commitment to innovation, McBride continues to champion the future of logistics—where technology empowers people, strengthens operations, and creates new possibilities for the industry.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to determination, self-motivation, and a commitment to pursuing my goals and dreams despite challenges along the way. I believe in staying focused, treating others with kindness and respect, and striving to make a positive difference every day. These values have guided me throughout my personal and professional journey. Outside of work, I enjoy attending concerts, traveling, spending time outdoors, and being with my dogs, which help me stay balanced and inspired.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is to embrace challenges and view them as opportunities to learn and grow. Being open to new experiences, continuing my education, and staying committed to personal development have been essential to my success. I also believe in giving back by being a strong mentor and supporting others as they navigate their own career journeys.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to use their voices. If you do not speak up, your ideas and perspectives may not be heard. Have confidence in your expertise, share your opinions, and remember that your contributions have value.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest opportunities in my field is helping more businesses and individuals navigate their technology and artificial intelligence needs. As technology continues to evolve, there is an opportunity to empower organizations to innovate, grow, and achieve greater success through effective IT and AI solutions.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me most are resilience, positivity, focus, and continuous growth. I believe obstacles are opportunities that help us become stronger and more capable. I also believe that bringing a positive attitude to a team creates an environment where positivity is shared in return. Staying focused on my goals and not allowing distractions to take me off course has been an important part of my success.
