01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
For those starting, the biggest advice would be to know that it's not just a regular 9-to-5. It's a very rewarding career but there are many challenges and ups and downs. Stay patient, enjoy and embrace the opportunity, and learn because there's still a lot of challenges even after 5 years. Understand why you're doing it and have a driving force for longevity and success. Be real with yourself. Put yourself in residents' shoes and show empathy. On hard days, understand the reason behind things like getting yelled at by a boss - it's helping you become better.
