What do you attribute your success to?
Michelle attributes her success to the powerful influence of both her family and her mentors. Her children inspire her daily to lead with integrity, resilience, and purpose, motivating her to overcome challenges, remain focused on her goals, and make meaningful contributions in both her personal and professional life.
She also credits mentors such as Tyler Devereux from Multifamily Mindset and Andy Albright of the Alliance, whose encouragement to think bigger and pursue bold goals has shaped her leadership and vision. Additionally, Michelle draws inspiration from Sharon Lechter, co-author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, whose lifelong dedication to empowering women with financial education has reinforced Michelle’s own mission to help women become confident, informed decision-makers.
At the core of her success is a belief that relationships are everything. Michelle is deeply committed to building trust through authenticity, education, and genuine connection — values that guide her work and define her approach to leadership.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The most impactful career advice Michelle has received is to simply keep going. Challenges are inevitable, but resilience, consistency, and commitment to the vision are what ultimately create success.
Equally important was learning the value of delegation. By trusting others to handle tasks that don’t require her direct involvement, Michelle was able to focus her energy where it matters most. Letting go of perfection in favor of progress became a defining lesson in scaling both her business and her impact.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The best advice Michelle offers to women entering the financial industry is to learn the power of delegation and build a strong support network. Surrounding yourself with mentors, peers, and allies creates a foundation of guidance, accountability, and encouragement that helps you navigate challenges and seize opportunities with confidence.
She also emphasizes the importance of continual learning. Michelle encourages women to read daily — even just 15 minutes — and to use time spent driving or commuting to listen to podcasts, audiobooks, or educational content. These small, consistent habits compound over time and contribute to long-term growth.
Above all, Michelle urges women not to settle for less than they are capable of achieving. Dream bigger than you think is possible, remain open to growth, and trust that with commitment, education, and the right support system, success can exceed what you once imagined.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest opportunities in the financial services industry today is serving the baby boomer generation. As more individuals approach or enter retirement, there is a growing demand for guidance around income planning, healthcare costs, and legacy strategies. This demographic shift presents significant opportunities for advisors who prioritize education, clarity, and long-term trust.
At the same time, one of the primary challenges is managing time and scale effectively. As demand grows, ensuring the right systems and team are in place to support and execute initiatives efficiently is essential. For Michelle, success in this evolving landscape depends on building strong teams, delegating wisely, and maintaining the high-touch client experience that defines her work.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to Michelle in both her professional and personal life are grace, meaningful connection, and empathy. These principles guide how she interacts with others, makes decisions, and builds relationships rooted in trust and understanding.
Michelle leads with education first, believing that when people understand how money works, fear is replaced with confidence. She is deeply committed to caring for others and approaching every conversation from a place of compassion and respect, recognizing that each individual’s financial journey is shaped by unique life experiences.
Her work is especially informed by an understanding of the challenges women face in retirement — including the pay gap, career interruptions for caregiving, and the financial strain that can come from outliving a spouse. By acknowledging these realities, Michelle helps women feel seen, supported, and empowered.
At the heart of her mission is helping clients build a sense of safety and security for the future. Through education, thoughtful planning, and genuine connection, Michelle strives to ensure every client feels confident, prepared, and protected as they move into the next chapter of life.
