Michelle Rivard is a seasoned Analytical Technologist at Dow Inc., where she has been a leader in silicone materials measurement science for over 28 years. With expertise in advanced analytical techniques such as gas chromatography (GC), mass spectrometry (MS), gas adsorption (BET), and pycnometry, Michelle plays a vital role in characterizing silicone-based materials that drive innovation across Dow’s Performance Silicones division. Her deep technical acumen and commitment to scientific rigor have made her a go-to expert in siloxane analysis and process development.

Beyond her technical contributions, Michelle is a passionate advocate for chemical education and mentorship. She has served in national leadership roles within the American Chemical Society (ACS), including the Committee on Technician Affairs and the Project SEED program, which connects underrepresented high school students with hands-on research opportunities.
