Michelle Romero is a dynamic professional with a strong foundation in operations management, customer service, and public affairs, currently serving as an Operations Supervisor at Carolina’s Crossdock in Charlotte, North Carolina. With entrepreneurial experience and studies in real estate, Michelle has built a versatile career that bridges the public and private sectors. Her experience in Puerto Rican Government as a Public Affairs Specialist and operations knowledge are where she honed her skills in crisis management, problem-solving, and leadership.
Outside of her professional accomplishments, Michelle brings the discipline and competitive spirit of a former athlete. She began riding horses at the age of nine and went on to compete professionally in equestrian events, ultimately retiring from the sport at 21. Though she passed on a college scholarship to pursue her athletic career, she has continued to grow personally and professionally, adding certifications in Six Sigma, project management, and interpersonal communication. Michelle is passionate about cooking, recently started French and golf lessons, and enjoys taking long walks with her beloved dog—reflecting a well-rounded lifestyle grounded in both structure and joy.

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is that the supply chain industry remains male-dominated, but this also presents a great opportunity for women to bring fresh perspectives and leadership.
