About Michelle
Michelle Schneir has spent 26 years in advertising, working at agencies such as Ogilvy and Young and Rubicam where she partnered with some of the world's largest brands on B2B and B2C marketing initiatives. For the past 10 to 12 years, her focus has been in pharmaceutical marketing, launching brands and developing patient communications as well as strategies to motivate healthcare professionals. She recently pivoted into a business development role at a consulting firm, leveraging her client partnership and problem-solving skills, while also launching Candlelit, a specialized candlelight styling and installation service for weddings and elevated events. Schneir's expertise centers on branding and the intersection of sales and marketing, and she credits her early career mentors, strong women leaders at Ogilvy and Young and Rubicam, for teaching her to voice her opinions and continually improve experiences and connections. She serves as community impact chair for the St. Charles Women's Club, organizing volunteer events, and was previously involved with the Junior League of Chicago.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Follow your passions, don't niche yourself into one thing, make smart decisions about positions and brands to gain broad experience, and build a network to support your goals.
