About Michelle
Michelle Spitelli brings more than 17 years of experience to her role in human resources at a mid-sized law firm in Delaware. She earned her bachelor's degree in HR after an advisor suggested the field based on her interest in working with people and leadership. She began her career as an office manager at a wealth management company while collaborating with the CFO, then pursued an MBA in HR. Michelle recently earned her SHRM Senior Certified Professional designation. She is passionate about strategic planning and employee engagement, focusing on building strong culture through initiatives like benefits feedback, surveys, staffing, recruiting, and policy development. Michelle is a member of the Delaware chapter of SHRM and the Association of Legal Administrators Delaware chapter. She attributes her success to hard work, focus, and a strong work ethic instilled by her father, and she finds reward in helping employees grow and thrive in their roles.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I have to say just the hard work and the focus. I never really changed careers so this is really all that I know. I think I've just always been able to strive and stay on this path.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
My dad worked very hard. It was sort of like he instilled this really strong work ethic within me so I can't like pinpoint one thing that was said but he did teach me that if you work hard you know stay focused.
