About Michiko

Michiko Lindsey is a retired lawyer and the founder of Kimiko Legacy Ventures, LLC in San Diego, California. After becoming a lawyer to achieve financial independence, she retired and redirected her efforts toward nonprofit work. She founded 4kimmy.org in honor of her daughter Kimi and focuses on teaching homeless individuals how to generate passive income. Lindsey also funds an orphanage in Uganda entirely from her retirement resources and is developing an ecotourism business to promote long-term sustainability for the children there. She earned two associate degrees and one certificate from junior college after seven years of night classes while working full time, then completed her studies at SDSU. 01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Expect no help and understand everything you do, you will have to do on your own. Make a decision for your goal and work on that one thing every day and you will achieve it.
