Mickela Covieo is a Burnout Recovery Coach and the Founder of Glaciers to Grapevines, where she guides women to step away from the grind, reclaim their energy, and thrive. Originally from Alaska, Mickela has built a career that spans corporate leadership, executive coaching, and wellness facilitation. After a decade in the oil and gas industry, she made the bold decision to leave the corporate world, shedding her previous identity to start anew—an experience that fuels her passion for helping women navigate burnout, identity shifts, and life transitions with confidence and clarity.

Mickela curates transformational women’s retreats in Italy, blending holistic wellness, lifestyle coaching, and community to create intentional spaces for rest, reflection, and growth. Her approach draws on her expertise in strategy, leadership, and facilitation, as well as certifications as an Image Consultant and Holistic Nutrition Coach. She is deeply committed to helping women step into their full potential, fostering self-confidence, purpose, and meaningful impact in both personal and professional spheres.

A recognized leader and lifelong learner, Mickela has been honored as one of Alaska’s Top 40 Under 40 and has traveled to nearly 20 countries, embracing new cultures and experiences. She is most proud of rebuilding her identity after navigating burnout and relocating to Italy with her family, where she continues to grow personally and professionally. When she’s not coaching or hosting retreats, Mickela enjoys hiking, Pilates, and writing her first book—an extension of her mission to inspire women to live fully and thrive beyond survival.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to embrace your unique strengths and lean into your feminine energy. Treat your passion projects with care and dedication, as you would a treasured endeavor, and above all, remain persistent—never give up on what drives you.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Since this is a grassroots business, one of the biggest challenges in my field right now is gaining visibility. At the same time, this presents an exciting opportunity to connect authentically with audiences and build a strong, engaged community from the ground up.

The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are balance, self-care, integrity, and a commitment to serving others. These principles shape the way I approach challenges, relationships, and opportunities every day.
