Her Story
About Miesha
My background started in trauma nursing, where I worked in critical care environments including cardiothoracic ICU, cardiac ICU, pediatric ICU, the PDER, PDICU, and the day hospital. I eventually moved into management as a nurse. In 2020, my son was born with a medical condition, so I stepped out of management and transitioned to being a stay-at-home mom to care for him. He still has the medical condition, so even as his health improved, I stayed home to be available for him rather than returning to bedside nursing. Real estate has always been a strong interest of mine, so three years ago I decided to venture into doing something and went into real estate. One year ago, I entered the luxury market. I'm not an agent here in the States - I'm an advisor. I act as an intermediary between developers or investors and high-network individuals or other investors looking to buy luxury off-market assets. I have a partner in India who advised me to look into the UAE market because I love to research and learn. I started focusing on the UAE a year ago, and it's just exploded in the last couple of months. I service the UAE, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, and Umm Al Quwain, and I also do off-market properties. I follow the market here in the States because I love real estate, and that's how I'm able to advise my clients in the off-market sector. But I do a lot of off-market and off-plan (pre-construction) work, mainly in the UAE. I'm the CEO and Managing Director of Magnetar Assets LLC, working with my partner who is the founder. It's just the two of us, but we have partners worldwide in India, the United States, Canada, Europe, Germany, and throughout the UAE emirates.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I would attribute my success to persistence. Real estate, especially the market and sector that I'm currently in, is very competitive. You're constantly working to build your brand and constantly working to build trust. I've always been told that a lot of people end up leaving and quitting. So I would say persistence, because I love doing what I do. Even though you don't always earn anything or see the fruition come through until a deal happens, if you love doing what you love to do, the persistence to remain and just to keep going is what matters most to me.
