About Mieya
Mieya Annorat is an emerging entrepreneur and student from Tallahassee, Florida, who launched her first business ventures while still in high school. She operated a catering company specializing in Haitian and Caribbean cuisine, partnering with classmates to generate $5,000 in sales and donating $1,000 to the Shelter of Abused Women and Children in Naples, Florida. Currently a sophomore majoring in Business Administration at Tallahassee State College after attending Lorenzo Technical College, Annorat is restarting a wellness and technology business called I Am Resonance, which includes a developing app and mentorship through Bolivant Capital Group. She holds certifications in CPR, accounting operations, social media strategy from VSU, entrepreneur and small business (ESB), and ServSafe. Her academic honors include cum laude recognition, an AB student GPA, 100 hours of community service, a certificate of appreciation as Laylee football team manager, the 2024 Disrupt HR Award, the Champions for Learning Take Stock in Children's Scholarship, and the Bright Futures Scholarship. Annorat is also self-teaching Korean and studying ASL while pursuing interests in art, music, and reading on topics like psychology and economics.
