Her Interview

Ten minutes with Mignon

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to curiosity, vision, and the influence of my father, who was leader and teacher in Rosicrucian theology and avid scholar of astronomy and metaphysics. From a young age, I was deeply inquisitive, fascinated by subjects such as mathematics, astronomy, chemistry and holistic sciences as well,, and by age seven, I had already envisioned my life in decades ahead.

Those early experiences of intentional daydreaming, combined with my father’s guidance in astrology, numerology, and Rosicrucian teachings, instilled in me a lifelong passion for learning and purposeful living, which continues to shape my journey today.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to keep God first, treat failures as lessons, and persevere no matter what. When faced with challenges, focus on solutions, and recognize when it’s necessary to separate emotions from business decisions. These principles have guided me throughout my career.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to keep faith first, embrace lessons from failures, stay resilient in the face of challenges, and persistently pursue your goals. Believing in yourself and maintaining perseverance are key to long-term success.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges and opportunities in my field currently involve managing and administering large, complex IT contracts, including cloud migrations for helpdesk services, while navigating appropriations and government funding. Successfully balancing these responsibilities requires both technical expertise and strategic oversight.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are faith—putting God first—perseverance, curiosity, a commitment to service, and practical problem-solving. These principles shape the way I approach challenges and opportunities every day.
