About Mika
Mika Lessnau is a sustainability and climate finance professional with nine years of experience in the field. She currently serves as Senior Analyst in Sustainability Services at Winrock International, where her role involves project management support and technical advisory across projects focused on decarbonizing supply chains for large food and agricultural companies, as well as work in renewable energy. Her background includes an internship with a sustainable transportation organization and a formative year working with a UN agency specializing in food and agriculture after college. She holds a bachelor's degree in environmental studies and international relations from Tufts University and a master's degree in sustainability management from Columbia University, from which she graduated last year. She is Envision certified for sustainable public infrastructure.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
It's important to just try things even if you don't think you'll like it, get experience in whatever you can because it will be meaningful and help set you up on the right path. Take whatever experience you can get and don't limit yourself to whatever you think you should do.
