Through her writing and facilitation, she helps clients uncover the “stories beneath the stories” that often hold the key to healing and growth.

Beyond one-on-one coaching, Miki leads the Meta Momentum Sangha, a virtual community fostering mindful connection and holistic wellness. She offers live guided meditation sessions, creativity strategy guidance, and sobriety coaching, cultivating a supportive environment for individuals navigating recovery, neurodivergence, and personal development. Passionate about helping others live intentionally and compassionately, Miki continues to expand her offerings, including future writing projects and community initiatives that emphasize slowing down, listening inward, and embracing a heart-led, present life.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a deep-seated curiosity about the world. I’ve always asked questions and sought to understand the “why” behind things, which naturally propelled me into coaching. In my work, I focus on uncovering the root of challenges—often the real issue lies beneath the surface, not in the obvious symptoms. Being a lifelong learner is central to who I am, and continually seeking wisdom has been instrumental in guiding both my growth and the impact I have on others.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is: do it scared. Don’t wait for the perfect moment or for fear to disappear—you can always ask for help along the way. I apply this philosophy every day. Writing my book, for example, was a leap of faith. I took the chance, navigated the process of self-publishing, and while it required courage, I’m incredibly proud of what I accomplished.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is to learn to listen to the voice inside you—and make that voice louder than anyone else’s. You are your own best expert, so trusting and prioritizing your instincts is essential. By honoring your own perspective first, you can lead with confidence and authenticity in everything you do.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I tend to approach my work by seeing challenges as opportunities. One area that requires attention is managing time—especially balancing screen time and setting boundaries. I naturally enjoy diving in and doing more, which makes it important to step back intentionally. The rise of virtual work, social media, and our digital lives presents both challenges and opportunities, but I view it largely as positive. There’s an immense amount to learn and explore, and when mistakes happen, they become valuable lessons that propel growth.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values I hold most important in both my work and personal life are compassion, patience, empathy, creativity, and wisdom. As a lifelong learner, continually seeking wisdom is central to how I grow, make decisions, and connect with others. These values guide not only how I approach my work but also how I engage with the world around me.
