01What do you attribute your success to?
I grew up under the wings of my Fairy God Mother Grandmother, Jessie Haver Butler, who guided me and inspired me to become the woman I am today. In her early 90s, she often shared the podium in Hollywood with Gloria, Steinem, Marlo Thomas, and Jane Fonda and took me along. Her amazing, inspiring story is in the book From Cowgirl to Congress.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Dream it. Do it. Just start.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't wait, do it NOW! Done is better than perfect. Start and it will develop into amazing opportunities. Get as much training as possible.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Most authors have a difficult time getting their books noticed and read. There are many strategies and resources to help get the work out. Another aspect is that many entrepreneurs are writing their authority book to show expertise and teach from. So often the money comes from coaching and teaching and using their book to give away and to sell.
Self-publishing on Amazon and has never been easier and free to do. They give us so many attributes and a path to success.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I meditate and pray every day-I never miss. I didn't always realize it, but I have been good at manifesting from a very young age and am honing my skills everyday. Dream it and it can happen. Believe it and it can happen. Expect is and say thank you and it WILL happen!
Family is extremely important, including my dogs.
For me, giving and inspiring others is paramount in my every day life. My super power is GIVING!
