About Milagros
Milagros MartinezSchettini has dedicated over 30 years to education, currently teaching virtual courses at Bay Path University where she instructs teachers and working in a school as an ESL teacher to help develop other educators. She is actively developing a business to offer professional services in education, aiming to leave a legacy by sharing her extensive experience. Her journey began with a passion for psychology but was guided into education by her brother, leading to roles as a teacher, supervisor, administrator, and university liaison, as well as reconnecting students who had left school with educational opportunities. She earned a bachelor's degree, master's degree, and a doctorate in education with two majors while managing multiple responsibilities as a wife, mother, and professional. In 2023 she was recognized as a Marquis Who's Who Top Educator and Top Professional. Milagros finds deep satisfaction in seeing students gain confidence and achieve their goals, often crediting her support years later, and she advises aspiring educators to embrace empathy and the power to shift lives through teaching.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
If you want to impact others and help change their mindset and shift their lives, education is the best way because everyone has to go through educators. We need good educators who not only master knowledge but have empathy and can be there for students when they need you. It may be burdensome at times but if you want real satisfaction, education is the field.
