My family has always been the driving force behind my success. As the eldest of three siblings, I have always felt a deep sense of responsibility to help create a better future for the people I love. I helped support my brother and sister through college and purchased a home for my parents—two accomplishments that mean more to me than any title or promotion. My family taught me resilience, sacrifice, and the importance of continuing forward even when the path is difficult. Knowing that others believe in me and rely on me has always given me a reason to keep going. 

The best career advice I have ever received is never to believe that any position is beneath you. Every role has something to teach you. I started as a host and worked my way into leadership, and that journey taught me the value of understanding a business from the ground up. The best leaders never forget where they started, and they are never too important to step in, help their team, and continue learning. 

Never underestimate the power of consistency. Success rarely happens overnight, and your career will not always follow a straight path. Keep learning, be open to feedback, build meaningful relationships, and do not allow temporary setbacks to define your long-term goals. Do not wait until you feel completely ready to pursue an opportunity. Believe that you belong in the room, speak up for yourself, and be willing to start at the bottom if it allows you to grow. I started as a host, and each position I held taught me something that prepared me for the next. 

One of the biggest challenges in hospitality today is attracting and retaining great people while meeting constantly evolving customer expectations. At the same time, I believe this creates one of our greatest opportunities: developing stronger leaders and building workplaces where people feel valued, supported, and motivated to grow. Technology continues to change the way businesses operate, but hospitality will always be a people-centered industry. The leaders who can balance innovation with genuine human connection will have the greatest opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Integrity, resilience, family, and growth are the values that guide me most. I believe in doing the right thing even when no one is watching, keeping my word, and treating people with respect regardless of their position. I also believe that growth requires humility. There is always something new to learn and always room to become better. In both my professional and personal life, I want to be someone my family can depend on, my team can trust, and others can look to as proof that where you start does not determine how far you can go.
