What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to God and to my own tenacity, which has driven me to persevere through challenges and stay committed to my goals.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that everyone is a “10 at something.” Leaders should help people recognize their strengths and align roles accordingly. A mentor once helped me see my aptitude for process improvement and Six Sigma, which ultimately shaped my career path.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to take on the challenges that no one else wants. Tackling difficult assignments accelerates learning, builds resilience, and opens doors to new opportunities. I also believe in the “career jungle gym”—moving across functions and industries to solve problems and broaden your skills.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
A key challenge in my field is balancing short-term financial pressures, such as quarterly or PE-driven results, with the need to implement sustainable, long-term solutions. At the same time, AI presents both a challenge and an opportunity—while some roles may evolve or change, new opportunities are emerging, and organizations must support people in reskilling and adapting to these shifts.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are loving God, honoring others, embracing joy, living with humility, and committing to continuous growth.
