Her Story

About Mira

My career at CPSFL reflects both growth and impact—I joined in 2021 as HR Director, advanced to COO, and now serve as EVP/COO following a full organizational restructuring. My background across both the private and nonprofit sectors, combined with my foundation in education, has shaped my leadership approach—grounded in people, performance, and purpose.

My greatest accomplishment has been leading the organization through a critical period of instability. At a time when programs were underperforming and the agency faced significant financial risk, I led a full operational and leadership restructuring. This included making difficult workforce decisions, realigning leadership, and strengthening accountability across the organization. In partnership with my team, we renegotiated contracts and secured over $500,000 in new and renewed funding, while also reducing operational costs by over $300,000 annually—ultimately closing a major financial gap and stabilizing the organization.

At the same time, we strengthened internal systems, improved compliance and KPI tracking, reduced turnover, and rebuilt trust across teams and with funders. This work was not just about financial recovery—it was about ensuring continuity of care and preserving critical services for the community.

Today, we are stronger, more aligned, and better positioned to fulfill our mission of changing the odds for the individuals and families we serve—creating meaningful impact not only in their lives today, but for generations to come.
