Mirabelle Guevarra is a passionate and dedicated early childhood education professional based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. As the owner and operator of Tita Mira Family Daycare, she has spent over 16 years providing high-quality, nurturing care to young children, emphasizing hands-on learning, empathy, and holistic development. Her professional journey began in the Philippines, where she produced a children’s television show and managed events, and continued in the United States through roles in customer service and property management before launching her own licensed daycare to support her family and community.
Mirabelle is deeply committed to advocacy for children, families, and childcare professionals. She actively engages with legislative initiatives, lobbying for fair pay for early childhood educators and improved access to affordable childcare. She is also helping organize the Child Care Conference 2026 for Child Care Awareness in Los Angeles, working alongside city leaders to raise public awareness about the importance of early childhood education and to strengthen support systems for children and families.
Beyond her advocacy, Mirabelle is a mentor and community leader, guiding new educators through licensure and professional development. She partners with Quality Start LA and Pathways LA to continually enhance her program and mentor others in the field. Grounded in patience, compassion, and active listening, she is devoted to building long-term relationships with the families she serves while fostering a learning environment that supports children’s growth, resilience, and future success.

I attribute my success to my commitment to making a lasting impact on children’s futures by creating an education-based platform that helps them reach their full potential through engaging, skill-building activities, while also providing a safe and nurturing environment where they can grow and thrive with the support of compassionate and dedicated educators.

I would advise young women entering the childcare industry to approach their work with patience, genuine passion, and a caring heart, as these qualities are essential to building meaningful connections and achieving long-term success.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in early childhood education and daycare is meeting the diverse needs of young children, which can be demanding and complex. At the same time, it’s incredibly rewarding to witness children grow, learn, and flourish under your guidance.
