Her Story

About Miranda

Miranda Blanchard is a financial services professional currently working as a Wealth Management Servicing Agent at JPMorgan Chase. She began her career in retail at Nordstrom, where she developed a strong foundation in client service, communication, and relationship management. That early experience shaped her ability to connect with people and sparked her interest in helping clients make informed, confident decisions—eventually leading her into the insurance and broader financial services industry.

Over the past several years, Miranda built a strong track record in insurance, specializing in property and casualty, life, health, and commercial products. She earned recognition as the top producer for P&C sales at the Roy Moreno State Farm agency, reflecting both her performance and her disciplined, client-focused approach. Her success was driven by hands-on mentorship, continuous learning, and a consultative style centered on understanding client needs, identifying gaps in coverage, and delivering tailored financial protection solutions. This experience strengthened her ability to simplify complex financial topics and guide clients through important decisions with clarity and trust.

Miranda has since transitioned into wealth management at JPMorgan Chase to expand her expertise in long-term financial planning and deepen her impact in helping individuals build financial stability. She is currently preparing for the SIE exam and will pursue her Series 7 and Series 63 licenses as part of her continued professional development. Her focus is on supporting clients in building stronger financial foundations through education, planning, and strategy, with a passion for improving financial literacy and empowering individuals to take control of their financial future. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys travel, cooking, and gardening.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Miranda

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to serving people with integrity and honesty in everything I do. Doing my best every single day is really important to me, and I focus on growing every single day and pushing myself out of my comfort zone. Whatever I'm doing, I want to do it 100% and give it my 100% effort. I think that commitment to continuous growth and giving my all has been key to my achievements.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I received came from the owner of the number one Allstate agency in the nation, where I had my first insurance job. He taught me to always have a positive day, regardless of how your day went the previous day. Treat it like you're gonna have those big clients walk in, treat it like every single day is special. Just have a really positive, fresh mindset. That was really helpful to me because in insurance, it can be very routine what you're doing. But just treating everyone as a brand new person, a brand new opportunity, and approaching it as a brand new day means you can have some really high success every single day.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say that if you're looking to get into insurance, it's a great stepping stone to earn a little bit of money to pay for your college or some basic needs, but it's not an end-all, be-all. I actually had a student interview me, and to be very honest, I didn't necessarily recommend them aiming at insurance as a long-term career field. I suggested they think of it more as a stepping stone. I found that I wanted to lead into the financial industry more because there was more income potential, diversification, and just different opportunities. Life can change, and so you want to have multiple opportunities available to you. Look at progressing beyond insurance and expanding your knowledge into other products.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of my biggest challenges has been reaching the more affluent clients and learning how to be very competitive and timely for them. I've found that when working with high-end clientele, there's not a lot of room for error because their time is worth a lot of money. You have to be very knowledgeable and ready for those kinds of customers. I've been challenged with filling the gaps in my knowledge so that when I have those affluent clients with more complex questions, I'm ready for it and ready to serve them well.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are people and serving people. I believe strongly in having integrity and honesty in what I do. Doing my best every day is crucial to me, and I'm committed to growing every single day and pushing myself out of my comfort zone. Whatever I'm doing, I want to do it 100% and give it my 100% effort. That commitment to excellence and continuous personal growth guides both my work and personal life.
