About Miranda
Miranda Llano is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in South Carolina with more than a decade of experience in the mental health field. She currently practices at Hollis Counseling and has also maintained a counseling role with Pettigru Counseling Associates since 2018. Her professional background includes work as a school counselor, school-based therapist, and receptionist within counseling and mental health settings, giving her a broad perspective on the needs of individuals, families, and communities.
Miranda specializes in narcissistic abuse treatment, domestic violence and abuse recovery, and supporting parents of individuals on the autism spectrum. She is an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist and Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician, and she is also a Gottman Bringing Baby Home Program Educator. Her approach is grounded in creating safe, supportive environments where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered as they work through difficult experiences and pursue healing and personal growth.
Miranda earned a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and Counseling Psychology from Liberty University after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Communications at North Greenville University. She has continued to expand her professional qualifications through specialized certifications, including a Post Graduate South Carolina School Counseling Teaching Certification and training related to autism spectrum disorder and narcissistic abuse treatment. Drawing from both her professional expertise and personal journey through an abusive relationship, Miranda is committed to transforming difficult experiences into a purpose of providing guidance, hope, and healing to others in her community.
