Mireya is a multilingual Trust & Safety and AI Operations professional, entrepreneur, and lifelong learner dedicated to building trust through technology, innovation, and human connection. Throughout her international career, she has helped organizations create safer digital environments by combining analytical thinking, operational excellence, and thoughtful decision-making with a deeply human-centered approach.
Her professional journey began as an interpreter and translator following an internship with the Mexican Bank of Foreign Trade in Paris, laying the foundation for a global career shaped by languages, cultures, and continuous learning. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, with proficiency in additional languages, Mireya has built a career at the intersection of communication, technology, and problem-solving, contributing to global organizations including Apple, YouTube, and Clubhouse in roles spanning Trust & Safety, Quality Assurance, Localization, and AI-driven operations.
Her path has also been defined by resilience and reinvention. Following profound personal loss, Mireya transformed adversity into purpose by founding and operating an oncology-focused business in Mexico, dedicating years to supporting patients and their families through some of life's most challenging moments. That experience strengthened her belief that meaningful leadership begins with empathy, compassion, and service to others.
Beyond her work in technology, Mireya is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, an entrepreneur, and a devoted mother who raised two sons while continuously pursuing personal and professional growth. A passionate traveler who has explored every continent except Australia, she embraces every new culture and experience as an opportunity to learn, connect, and broaden her perspective. She is currently developing Peace of Mind Assistance, a people-first business designed to help seniors, caregivers, and busy families navigate everyday challenges through practical support, organization, and compassionate service.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to curiosity, resilience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact. Throughout my career, I've embraced change, continuously learned new skills, and never been afraid to reinvent myself when new opportunities or challenges arose. Whether working with people, technology, or complex problems, I believe that combining analytical thinking with empathy leads to the best outcomes. I strive to leave every team, project, and community better than I found them.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The most impactful advice I've ever received is to stay true to your values while never losing your curiosity. Embrace lifelong learning, trust your own potential, and never be afraid to reinvent yourself. Growth begins the moment you stop letting fear make your decisions and start believing in the possibilities ahead.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Never lose your curiosity. Knowledge opens doors, but the willingness to keep learning transforms your life. Don't be afraid to reinvent yourself, embrace new challenges, or step into unfamiliar territory—because that's often where the greatest opportunities are waiting.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest challenges—and opportunities—of our time is finding the right balance between technology and humanity. As AI continues to transform the way we live and work, I believe innovation should empower people, not replace meaningful human connection. My vision is to help bridge that gap by using technology to simplify lives while ensuring empathy, trust, and compassion remain at the center of every solution.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide both my professional and personal life are integrity, compassion, curiosity, and service. I believe success is most meaningful when it creates a positive impact on others. Whether I'm improving trust and safety in technology, mentoring others, promoting health and well-being, or developing services that help people live more confidently and independently, my goal is always the same: to build trust, empower people, and leave every person, project, and community better than I found them.
