Mirna Villa

Mirna Villa is the founder of Upskilling You Consulting and Training, a company she has led for three years. Her work centers on workforce development, training, and upskilling of the workforce, with a strong emphasis on coaching and leadership, team development, and identifying and addressing gaps in the workforce. Prior to starting her business, she worked in the education space across higher education, K-12, and post-secondary settings, where she supported first-generation BIPOC and low-income students through career coaching and workforce development trainings to help them find their passion and purpose in career pathways and build economic mobility. She earned a bachelor's degree from Regis University in sociology and psychology, followed by a master's degree in executive coaching and organizational development. In her role, she engages in networking, stakeholder meetings, and the creation of program designs and curriculum to drive behavioral change in workplaces.
