Her Story
About Missy
I've been with my company for about 10 years, working as an office manager. When I saw our company struggling with a lot of problems, I knew I wanted to live in a solution. From my position, I was able to touch base in different departments and see areas of weakness. I wanted to make a difference and help restructure a stronger foundation, so I mentioned that to leadership. They decided to move me across the state to another store that was struggling, to help pull it all together. I felt honored that they would trust me with that opportunity. My main areas of expertise are analysis, delegation, and leading and guiding other people. When I lead, I try my best to help others learn what I'm doing so I can pass on the torch and they can learn to be leaders as well. I highly value communication. Day to day, I do a lot of auditing for all 5 of our stores within our franchise to catch mistakes before they get too far down the line. I'm also trying to find new ways we can have a smoother, more effective process for our data and work together as a team. I handle payroll, auditing, and administration. My most notable achievement has been seeing the culture change at the store and creating a stronger foundation, bringing my vision to fruition. We now have better outcomes for our customers, a stronger core, and an easier flow in the office. Helping clean up a store that was falling to pieces has been pretty huge, even though this isn't the job of my dreams.
